| About the Kris Youmans Band |
|
BiographyThe Kris Youmans Band’s music runs the gamut of country music’s influences. From Blues and Gospel, to the traditional ‘standards’ made famous by Loretta Lynn and Hank Williams, to the band’s own flavor of ‘coastal country’ that living on the Georgia coast soaked into their leader, Kris Youmans. Kris started singing/playing guitar at age ten and cut her stage teeth in the pubs and restaurants of Savannah Georgia’s famous ‘river-street’ before she reeled her band member’s pedal steel, guitar, harmony, bass and lead guitar to add a deep measure of soul and sweetness to the music the band now brings to the stageCheck out their current and upcoming schedule in the Event List and Calendar.
